Indore, Oct 22 (PTI) The Women's World Cup match between Australia and England showcased a riveting encounter, as the teams faced off at Indore on Wednesday.

England Women’s Innings: The English team's performance was highlighted by Tammy Beaumont's impressive score of 78 runs, caught by Voll off Sutherland’s bowling. Amy Jones was dismissed by Sutherland after scoring 18. The English captain, Heather Knight, made 20 before falling lbw to Molineux. Nat Sciver-Brunt contributed 7 runs before being caught by Sutherland off King. Sophia Dunkley managed to add 22 before being stumped by Mooney, with Gardner taking the wicket.

Emma Lamb, also bowled by Sutherland, scored 7. Alice Capsey, with a notable 38, was stopped by an lbw from Molineux. Charlie Dean was caught by Litchfield, again due to Gardner's bowling, adding 26 runs.
