Hyundai Creta Becomes India’s Most Exported SUV In 2021

The Hyundai Creta has become the most-exported SUV from India with 32,799 units shipped overseas in 2021. The popular-selling compact SUV was not only a favourite in India with 1.5 lakh units sold last year but remained a popular choice overseas as well. It was also a major contributor to Hyundai’s export operations as the company registered a growth of 26.17 per cent when compared to the same period last year. Overall, Hyundai Motor India exported 42,238 SUVs last year including 7,698 units of the Venue and 1,741 units of the Alcazar which is sold as Creta Grand in other markets. Hyundai currently exports its cars from India to six continents - Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Australia and other parts of Asia.
