It's not just humans who crave junk food after smoking up. Even worms display the same craving after consuming weed, as per research.

The study was published in the journal Current Biology. However, it is not confirmed whether the worms got high but they did display a craving for higher-calorie food just like humans.

Shawn Lockery, one of the authors of the study and a professor of biology and neuroscience at the University of Oregon in the US, said that an increase in existing preference is analogous to eating more of the foods you would crave anyway. It’s like choosing pizza versus oatmeal.
