Vijaya Ekadashi 2024: Know the importance of starting a fast on this day

Ekadashi comes twice every month

According to Vedic Astrology Teacher & Counsellor, Bani Singh Chadha, there are 24 Ekadashi in a year and it comes twice every month.
It's a very auspicious day to keep a fast for Lord Vishnu. And the one that comes in the Hindu month of Falgun is called Vijaya Ekadashi. This year it falls on March 6th.

Vijay means victory. So any fast that is started on Vijaya Ekadashi can make the impossible possible. So it means that you start your fast on Vijay Ekadashi and for the next 24 hours you keep a fast for one year.
