Pride Month 2023: 9% adults across 30 countries identify as LGBTQIA+

As Pride Month is going on, a latest data on LGBTQIA+ has shed light on the numbers and representation of queer people in 30 countries across the world.

The survey done by Ipsos found that around 9 per cent of adults from 30 countries have self-identified as LGBTQIA+.

It was also found that due to the awareness in the younger generation, Gen Z and Millennials are more likely than other generations to identify as queer, bisexual, pansexual, omnisexual, or asexual.

It was an online survey and more than 22,514 people under the age of 75 took part in it. The survey took place between 17 February and 3 March 2023.
