Bathing is a basic habit and almost all of us bathe every day. But are you aware of these 4 mistakes that you might be making while taking a shower? A video has been posted from Instagram account, Satvik Movement, which tells us about 4 mistakes people generally make while taking a bath.

Bathing immediately after a meal

After we eat, our blood flows towards the digestive system as it takes more energy to digest the food. But if we take a shower immediately after eating, blood around our digestive system is distributed to other parts of our body, causing indigestion. So, always try to bathe 2 to 3 hours after eating and not immediately after it.

Shampooing Daily

Shampooing your hair every day with chemical-filled shampoos, causes natural oil of hair to get depleted. Wash hair only once or twice a week with paraben and sulfate free shampoos.

Bathing with hot water

Bathing with high temperature water makes your hair and skin dry. So always take a bath with water as hot as room temperature or lukewarm water during winters.

Usage of harmful chemicals

When chemical-rich soap or body wash is applied on skin, it tends to absorb those chemicals. So, limit your use of soaps to once or twice a week and try to bathe with just clear water. Try to switch to chemical free natural soaps made from natural ingredients.
