Sex is an important part of our lives and not having it for a long time can affect our body and mind equally. See what study says.

Even though sex is still a huge hush-hush topic in our country, it is equally important for our health. A study by National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) states how important physical relationship is for our body as well as mind and it shows how our body is affected if no sexual relation is made for a long time.

The study was done on 17,744 people, in which 15.2% of men and 26.7% of women had not had sexual relations for one year and 8.7% of men and 17.5% of women had not had sex for 5 years.

Even though it does not affect the body directly, the study revealed that not having sex for a long time may cause mental stress resulting in high blood pressure and anxiety.
