Are you not able to complete your daily target of 10,000 steps due to the rains? Fret not, it's not necessary to step outside to complete your target; you can follow these easy tips to achieve your step count even when you're indoors.

  • Activities like Zumba, skipping, jumping jacks and others are excellent exercises that can be done at home
  • Simply walking around the house while watching TV shows or talking over the phone can add to your daily steps target
  • Climbing up and down the stairs and dusting or mopping can contribute to more steps
  • If there's an access to a treadmill or stationary bicycle at your place, utilise them instead of making excuses
  • If you visit a shopping mall, or your work, consider taking stairs and walking around the office complexes and other bigger spaces
