Laughing out loud can actually improve your mental health; says study

When it comes to taking care of our mental health, laughter might be the best medicine, according to a new study.

Exercise, adequate sleep and a healthy diet play essential roles to maintain our physical and emotional health. However, according to a new study, there’s a lesser-known way you can boost your mental health.

Published in the National Library of Medicine, laughter therapy might be the best treatment when it comes to managing stress and depression.

As per researchers, laughing not only boosts your energy levels and keeps you active but also increases the production of endorphins that naturally helps to cope with pain or stress. It also produces serotonin, which regulates anxiety, happiness and mood.
