Like humans, do trees also practise social distancing? Well, it seems so. Recently, IFS officer Ramesh Pandey&nbsp; shared a video on Twitter where the topmost part of trees, called the crown, are not touching each other and are seen forming gaps.&nbsp;
In his post, he mentioned that it&rsquo;s a kind of social distancing among trees and is called 'crown shyness'.&nbsp;
However, scientists don&rsquo;t have any clear explanation behind this phenomenon but as per expert theories, trees practise it to prevent collision and to limit the spread of parasites between the trees or as a shade avoidance so that the sunlight reaches all the branches.

This bizarre remedy is known as &lsquo;potato sock&rsquo; and has gone viral with hundreds of users trying this health hack. The videos and posts have collectively garnered a whopping 8.1 billion views.
People have posted videos of potatoes that had turned black after being there in their socks, saying the potato pieces sucked in toxins and cured them. While some have benefitted from this, some say it&rsquo;s just a hoax.

This latest trend is called &lsquo;damp drinking&rsquo; which simply urges people to lower their alcohol consumption and not necessarily give it up. &nbsp;

The trend was explained by a TikToker Hana Elson (@hana.elson) in her post where she explained, that damp lifestyle is internalising the fact that drinking culture and your relationship with alcohol does not have to be black or white, all or nothing.&nbsp;

Talking about it, health experts say whether a trend or not, limiting alcohol intake is always better and they advise on adding more non-alcoholic drinks like water or juice to our regular diet. According to them, alcohol should be limited to only 60 ml and that too occasionally.&nbsp;

Centre renames Mughal Gardens as 'Amrit Udyan'

President Droupadi Murmu will grace the opening of the gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan - Udyan Utsav 2023

Rashtrapati Bhavan's famed Mughal Gardens will now be known as 'Amrit Udyan', an official statement issued on Saturday said.
The resplendent gardens are open to the public once a year and people can visit from January 31 this time.
President Droupadi Murmu will grace the opening of the gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan - Udyan Utsav 2023 - on Sunday, the statement said.
"On the occasion of the celebrations of 75 years of Independence as &lsquo;Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav&rsquo;, the President of India is pleased to give a common name to the Rashtrapati Bhavan gardens as &lsquo;Amrit Udyan&rsquo;," Navika Gupta, Deputy Press Secretary to the President, said in the statement.
The government had last year renamed Delhi's iconic Rajpath as &ldquo;Kartavya Path&rdquo;. The renaming of the stretch and other institutions is in line with the Centre's effort to remove any trace of colonial mindset, it has maintained.
"Rashtrapati Bhavan is home to a rich variety of gardens. Originally, they included East Lawn, Central Lawn, Long Garden and Circular Garden.
"During the term of former Presidents Dr A P J Abdul Kalam and Shri Ram Nath Kovind, more gardens were developed, namely Herbal-I, Herbal-II, Tactile Garden, Bonsai Garden and Arogya Vanam," the statement issued on Saturday said.
In this year&rsquo;s Udyan Utsav, among several other attractions, visitors will be able to see specially cultivated tulips of 12 unique varieties which are expected to bloom in phases.
This time the gardens (Herbal Garden, Bonsai Garden, Central Lawn, Long Garden and Circular Garden) will be open for about two months.
The gardens will open for the general public on January 31, 2023 and will remain open till March 26, 2023, except on Mondays which are maintenance days and on March 8 on account of Holi.

Although some women have backlashed the trend saying these trends create an unrealistic picture of giving birth and make the mothers who do not follow the trend, look miserable, another&nbsp;mother commented, &ldquo;For me, putting on foundation, bronzer, mascara and lipstick brought me back to feeling myself after I&rsquo;d given birth."
