Till now brushing your teeth at night was considered to be an important task before going to bed but now, experts suggest clearing your nose before going to bed is another equally important thing.

Sharing a video on social media, Dr Sebastian Lomas advises to ensure your sinuses are clear, which can help with getting a good night's sleep and reduce your snoring problem.

Lomas shows the right way to clear sinuses: He stands up straight, breathes in through his nose, and then breathes out while keeping his mouth shut.

Next, he holds his nose and tilts his head side to side, almost touching his shoulders with his ears. While doing this, he tries to pop his ears for at least five seconds.

Snoring might indicate a health issue, like obstructive sleep apnea, which is a common condition connected to heart problems and can be deadly if not treated.

Roughly half of people snore at some point in their lives, according to University of Utah Health. The habit is more common among men, even though many women snore too.

The main reasons people snore are usually because of gaining weight, having allergies, drinking alcohol, sleeping in an unusual position, or taking specific medicines.
