Street food vendor mixing omelette with Parle-G biscuits baffles netizens, ask 'just why'

We Indians live for the flavours of street foods. However, more often than not, street food vendors take it too far with their experiments, combining ingredients whose names should never even be used in the same sentence together, let alone cooking. In one such bizarre turn of events, a video of a street food vendor making a weird dish using eggs and Parle G biscuits has now disgusted the internet.

Omelette with Parle-G biscuits baffles netizens

Social media is home to all things weird, but nothing could have prepared netizens for'moya moya omelette'. A video of a street vendor who has a reputation for making up anything and everything using eggs has been shared on Instagram by the page @foodb_unk. This time, he dared to experiment with India's OG biscuit Parle-G, and to say the least, it's downright atrocious.

The video begins with the vendor cracking two eggs into a bowl, followed by chopped onions, turmeric, and salt. After mixing it with a whisk, he pours the mixture on a frying pan and cooks it with butter. He then proceeds to open a packet of Parle-G biscuits and start laying the omelette with Parle-G biscuits and grated cheese. He then garnishes the final product with chopped coriander before serving it hot.

Netizens' funny comments

Netizens took to the comment section of the video to share their thoughts on this new street food letdown, which is a perfect recipe to injure your taste buds. One user wrote, "Woh Parle G, wali bachi ka smile change ho gaya packet mein," and another person wrote, "Bro forgot to add sambar, rasam, and curd." "I can't believe that people have liked this video," a third user said. A fourth user aptly asked, "Just why," while another asserted, "Aur kardo aise food counters ko famous. Food bloggers ke bigade huye hain yeh."
