Nourish your hair with this nutrient-packed iron-rich smoothie recipe

Witnessing a gradual decrease in hair density is a matter of concern, whether it's occasional shedding or a persistent problem.

A vital nutrient that significantly influences the health of your hair is iron. Hair loss often stems from a deficiency in iron, and restoring adequate iron levels can have a profound impact on hair health.

Recently, dietitian Manpreet Kalra shared the recipe of a super drink which is rich in copper and iron. Consuming it regularly can help in better hair health.

Recipe for iron-rich smoothie

Take 1 beetroot, 1/2 pomegranate, coriander leaves(handful) 1 amla, 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin seeds, 1/2 sunflower seeds and 200ml water.

Blend all the ingredients except sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Now, pour it into a glass and garnish it with seeds.

All these ingredients are rich in vitamin C, iron, copper, magnesium and other nutrients which are helpful in keeping your hair healthy and reducing hair breakage.
