Do you love sipping on a hot cuppa coffee during your flight? Well, according to a flight attendant, drinking coffee on a flight is disgusting and one must avoid it as much as they can. Why you ask? Let's find out!

Why not to drink coffee on the flight?

Flight attendant Kevin, who also loves to use TikTok, shared with his followers some unknown truths about the aviation industry. In his video, Kevin claimed that the water tanks hardly get cleaned, “The fact that the tanks rarely get cleaned and that the water should be the least of your concern. For me, it’s always been the way that flight attendants have to clean out coffee pots.”

He further revealed that the cabin crew usually dumps coffee particles into the toilet, and gets a little too close for comfort to the toilet bowl. He added, “I imagine that there’s some kind of backsplash of particles, bacteria, whatever that goes directly back into the coffee pot, which gets put right back into the coffee maker.”

Kevin also revealed that the backseat pockets of the aircraft are extremely unhygienic and are hardly sanitised. They may also have diapers, wrappers, used tissues, and strands of hair!

Well, looks like you should just wait and have coffee when you reach your destination and also not touch the backseat pocket of a flight!
