There are different types of honey available in the market. And, many times it's difficult to figure out whether it's pure or not. Here are three amazing DIY hacks you can try at home to test the purity test of honey.

1. Dissolving test

Take a glass of water, preferably a glass glass and slowly drop a spoonfull of honey into it. If the honey reaches the bottom of the glass and does not dissolve, it means that the honey is pure.

2. Matchstick test

Take a matchstick and dip its tip into honey and finally strike the stick on the matchbox to light it. If the honey is pure it will light.

3. Honeycomb test

Lastly put a little honey on a steel plate and add water to it. Rotate the plate clockwise. If you see a hexagonal shaped honeycomb-like pattern, then the honey is pure .
