Indian restaurants make history! Two desi dining spots make it to 'World’s 100 Best Restaurants' list

Indian food and restaurants have always impressed one and all. Lately, two Indian restaurants have made us all proud after they made it to the 'World’s 100 Best Restaurants' list in 2024. While one restaurant is a popular hangout spot in Mumbai, another is a popular eatery in Delhi. Here are more deets.

Indian restaurants make it to 'World’s 100 Best Restaurants' list

Mumbai's Masque and New Delhi's Indian Accent made it to the 'World’s 100 Best Restaurants' list. While Masque ranked at 78, Indian Accent was ranked 89.

Masque is an Indian restaurant, established in 2016. The restaurant has garnered numerous accolades, from the One To Watch Award to being named The Best Restaurant in India in 2022, 2023 and now 2024.

Their ten-course tasting menu showcases India’s rich produce, featuring dishes such as Kashmiri morels with patra or the sea buckthorn pani puri, reimagining traditional Indian flavours with inventive twists.

Indian Accent is located in Delhi and happens to be Mira Rajput's favourite spot in Delhi. Their carefully crafted menu consists of unusual breads, artfully crafted cornets with spiced fillings and showstopping mains like tamarind crab with coconut curry.

Indian chef Gaggan Anand's restaurant also features in the list. His restaurant, Bangkok continued to impress and grabbed the 9th position. The restaurant was also declared the Best Restaurant in Asia.
