Sachin Tendulkar, the legendary cricketer, has turned 51 today. One of the most loved cricketers and known as the ‘God of cricket’, the master blaster has mentioned his favourite food in various interviews and interactions.

What are Sachin Tendulkar's favourite dishes?

One of his favourite dishes is reportedly butter chicken, a popular North Indian dish made with tender chicken cooked in a rich and creamy tomato-based sauce. Additionally, Tendulkar has expressed his fondness for other Indian delicacies like biryani, pav bhaji, and dhokla.

How Sachin Tendulkar balances his diet

Even though he’s a foodie, according to media reports, Tendulkar makes sure to divide his meal plan into 40% carbs, 30% fats and 30% protein. This helps him stay active and fit.

1. Breakfast - For breakfast Sachin prefers having steamed foods that are light and easy to digest with protein shake . He likes to eat grilled sandwich or a bowl of fruits for his post-breakfast snack .

2. Lunch - Sachin Tendulkar mostly consumes plant based protein foods like dal or rajma. He also loves fish and accompanied with mixed nuts and salad and curd.

3. Dinner - Even though he is a foodie, Tendulakr prefers simple homemade food for dinner. For special occasions he likes fish curry with rice for his dinner.

Reportedly, Sachin Tendulkar keeps himself hydrated and consumes adequate amount of water with some electrolytes thoughout the day. This heals him from inside out and heals cramps and gives muscle strength.
