Woman left with plastic skin after sleeping under sun: here's why sunscreen is vital

A nap in the sun ended up being a nightmare for a 25-year-old as she had plastic skin after that. She said a few things about why people should not skip sunscreen and you should know it too.

A little fun in the sun hurt nobody! But looks like a short nap caused much trouble to beautician Sirin Murad, who was on a holiday in Bulgaria when she took a nap by the beachside and when she woke up 30 minutes later, she had a slightly sore and red face.

The next day her skin became so tight that when she furrowed her eyebrows, it looked like she had a plastic forehead. Following that day her entire face started peeling and it left her covered in different patches of tanned and pink skin.

Sirin said that no matter how much you think that you will be fine or that your skin will not burn, you should always apply sunscreen!

She further said that in her case, she genuinely forgot and ended up with plastic skin.

Why is it important to use sunscreen?

According to dermatologists, there is one thing that one should never forget and it is using sunscreen, no matter what because UV rays can cause harm.

It is important to use sunscreen as it reduces the risk of sunburn, prevents the sign of ageing, helps to prevent skin from discolouration, reduces inflammation, and also reduces the risk of skin cancer.
