If there’s one thing that we must use a lot of and on a daily basis, it’s sunscreen. No matter what your skin tone, type or condition may be, sunscreen is an absolute requirement to protect oneself from all the harm that exposure to harsh sunlight can cause us.
In a recent Vogue Beauty YouTube video, Gwyneth Paltrow mentioned using sunscreen only on the high points of her face. This has caused an uproar amongst people as her tip is highly misleading and may cause people to follow her suggestion blindly. She applies sunscreen only to the points of her face where the sun ‘hits’ it without realising that every exposed bit of skin is open to sun damage equally.
The founder of the brand ‘Goop,’ applies sunscreen like highlighter and we’re most definitely not here for it! In an ideal world, sunscreen should be re applied every 2-3 hours, but if that is a bit too much then applying a teaspoon worth of sunscreen is the only way to go.
So slather it on and protect yourself from all that potential sun damage.
