Using body lotion for face as well? Know whether or not it is the best practice

In winters, applying body lotion on our body is important to keep the skin hydrated. But are you one of those who applies body lotion even on face? If yes, then you need to keep these things in mind.

Dermatologist, Dr. Aanchal Panth recently shared on Instagram that body lotion can be used for face only for people with dry skin. According to her body lotions are thicker and greasier so it’s better to avoid applying on face. Instead, a light gel moisturizer works best for the face.

She also mentioned that body lotions are not suited for face as they have a strong aroma. For face it is always better to use moisturizers with mild or no fragrance.
