Face Yoga Benefits : You must have heard of Yoga asanas like sukhasana, vakrasana and halasana among others and now there's a new trend on the block; face yoga. But does this really work? Let's find out.

Just like exercising regularly keeps your body in shape, yoga-inspired exercises are said to tone the muscles on your face to help keep you looking young.

You must have come across many apps, YouTube tutorials and Instagram videos dedicated to face yoga. And nowadays, people are hooked to a popular Instagram page named 'Face Yoga' to catch up on simple and easy face yoga techniques.

Researchers in 2014 looked at several clinical trials about facial exercises and found that face yoga improves the volume around the upper lip, cheeks and jawline, decreasing the appearance of saggy skin and wrinkles. However, more research is needed in this area.

Here are some potential benefits of Face Yoga:
