Cannes 2023: Indian debutants walk in style for day 1 of the film festival

Cannes 2023: The much awaited 76th Cannes Film Festival kickstarted at Frech Riviera and day 1 witnessed best of fashion games for several Indian celebs who walked the red carpet for the first time.

Let’s take a look at the first timers and what they sported.

Manushi Chhillar

The former Miss World walked in an environmentally conscious couture by Fovari and paired it with a necklace. The actor embraced elegance as she walked in neon shoes.

Sara Ali Khan

Sara Ali Khan made her Cannes red carpet debut in a desi style. She was spotted donning an exquisite hand embroidered lehenga paired with a blouse with intricate work of crystals, pearls and resham, designed by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. She completed her look with traditional Indian jewellery and minimal makeup.

Esha Gupta

Actor Esha Gupta, who is representing the Indian delegation this year, also made her red carpet debut at the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival. She attended the premiere of the opening film 'Jeanne Du Barry', which is Johnny Depp's comeback film. She wore a blush gown with a thigh-high slit and delicate lace flowers on her neck, designed by Nicolas Jebran. Her accessories were by FRED Paris.
