The fall’s name is derived from the name of a local woman, Ka Likai who lost her daughter tragically.

Castle Rock Railway Station is the closest one to begin the trek from. The 14 km trek takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete. Dhuandhar Falls in Bhedaghat of Jabalpur district is one of the most famous tourist spots of Madhya Pradesh. Originating from the river Narmada, it flows across the soft marble rocks.
