IPL 2022: Mentor Gautam Gambhir's emotional and fiery speech after Lucknow lose to Gujarat

"There is no place for being weak in a tournament like the IPL or in sport. That is where the problem is. We have beaten sides in this competition but I felt today we lacked the game sense, which was more important" Gautam Gambhir minced no words as he tried to motivate the Lucknow Super Giants after morale crushing loss to the Gujarat Titans on Tuesday night.

They were the table toppers before the game and had a chance to qualify for the playoffs but the IPL debutants have 2 more matches left in the league stages to confirm their playoff berth.

With 8 wins in 12 games, Lucknow has been one of the best teams in the tournament and the result on Tuesday night could be best described as a one-off loss for the mighty Super Giants.
