IPL 2022: Hardik Pandya bowls & bats in Gujarat Titans' big win over Lucknow Super Giants

IPL 2022: A lot of cricket experts and fans had raised doubts over the fitness of Hardik Pandya during the Indian Premier League as he last played competitive cricket during the World T20 last year. But the Gujarat Titans' skipper had a bright re-start to his injury affected career when he led his team to their maiden win in IPL against other debutants Lucknow Super Giants.

The win was special not only because it was their first-ever game in the Indian Premier League but also because Hardik Pandya ended up bowling 4 overs for Gujarat Titans. Pandya's back issues including surgery in the past had forced the all-rounder to stop bowling completely which also cost him a place in the Indian cricket team.

The figures of 0/37 from 4 overs are nowhere close to being good but what excites the fans and cricket experts is that the all-rounder is looking fit and capable of bowling again. Hardik's all-round skills are extremely important for the Titans to do well in the IPL but at the same time, the Indian selectors will be keeping an eye on his bowling specifically keeping in mind the World T20 late this year.
