Video: Armed robbery at jewellery shop in UP; accused still on the run

An armed robbery has been reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district.

The November 3 incident, which has been caught on CCTV, shows two unidentified assailants shooting the owner of a jewellery shop twice while they empty the locker of the shop.

All those present at the shop including a shop worker and customers were held at gun point. While the owner who was shot twice is seen crying out in pain.

Before fleeing the crime scene, the robbers collected cash, jewellery and snatched woman’s bag.

NDTV reported that no arrest has been made so far, and the accused continue to be on the run. As for the shop owner, his condition is said to be stable.
