Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday engaged with representatives of Yuvak and Mahila Mangal Dals from across the state during the Mukhya Sevak Samvad held at the Chief Minister’s residence, Mukhya Sevak Sadan.

During the event, he announced an increase in the incentive amount for Mangal Dals from Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000. He also shared plans to formulate a policy aimed at making Mangal Dals self-reliant and providing them access to loan facilities. Furthermore, these groups will receive training under the Digital Mission.

Appreciating the contributions of Mangal Dals, the Chief Minister said, “Mangal Dals are playing an important role in taking forward the culture and traditions of Uttarakhand.” He added, “Mangal Dals play the role of ‘First Responder’ during disasters and are also at the forefront in public awareness campaigns.”

The Chief Minister also emphasized the government’s continuous efforts to promote folk culture by providing financial support for local fairs and festivals.
