Yogi Adityanath attends Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is attending the ongoing 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of the Ram Darbar idols on the first floor of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.

Sharing his sentiments on social media, CM Yogi expressed his fortune to witness the sacred program, describing it as a true reflection of 'Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat'.

On X, he posted, "Today, in the holy birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, Ayodhya Dham, I am getting the great fortune of becoming a witness to the program organised for the Pran-Pratishtha of the holy idols of gods in the eight temples including Shri Ram Darbar on the first floor of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. This auspicious occasion is a new expression of 'Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat'. Victory to Siyavar Shri Ramachandra!"

The 'Pran Pratishtha' program, which began on June 3, is now in its third day as of June 5. Updates shared by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust on X detailed the ceremonial Vedic rituals performed on the first day in the Yagyashala. These rituals were aimed at the installation of Shri Ram Darbar and other deities in the surrounding Ashta Devalayas on the temple’s first floor.

The second day of the event saw the continuation of rituals, with the trust reporting, "On the second day of the Pran Pratishtha anushthan, various adhivas were performed, and the utsav vigrahas were taken on a Parikrama of the mandir premises. In addition to the Yajna Mandap, rituals were also conducted in the devalayas where the Pran Pratishtha will be carried out."

प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह के दूसरे दिन आज विभिन्न अधिवास हुए तथा उत्सव विग्रहों का परिसर भ्रमण कराया गया। आज यज्ञमंडप के अलावा प्राण प्रतिष्ठा वाले स्थानों पर भी पूजन हुआ।

They added, "The utsav vigrahas did parikrama of the mandir complex, following which rituals like Shayya Nivas and Prasada Vastu Puja were conducted. Later, a havan and aarti were performed in the Yagyashala. The Annadhivasa, Ghritadhivasa, Jaladhivasa, Pushpa Nivasa, Sharkaradhivasa, and Shayya Adhivasa were all performed sequentially."

Apart from these events, CM Yogi is also scheduled to attend the Saryu Jayanti Janmotsav in Ayodhya on June 5, as informed by Mahant Rajkumar Das Maharaj, head of Shriramvallabhkunj. Organised by the Anjaneya Sewa Trust, this week-long celebration running from June 5 to 11 will feature a series of devotional events, rituals, and spiritual discourses.
