National Dengue Day: UP CM Adityanath highlights need for 'cautious lifestyle'

On the occasion of National Dengue Day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday called on people to adopt a "cautious lifestyle".

In a post on X, the chief minister focused on the importance of hygiene when it came to combating the disease.

डेंगू एक गंभीर बीमारी है किन्तु स्वच्छता के नियमों का पालन कर इससे बचा जा सकता है।

आइए, इस 'राष्ट्रीय डेंगू दिवस' पर हम सभी मिलकर यह संकल्प लें कि स्वच्छ परिवेश व सतर्क जीवनशैली अपनाकर एक जागरूक समाज का निर्माण करेंगे तथा डेंगू जैसी बीमारी को मात देंगे। pic.twitter.com/fTMu6kOQPp

"Dengue is a serious disease but it can be avoided by following the rules of hygiene. On this National Dengue Day let us take a pledge to create an aware society by adopting a clean environment and cautious lifestyle, and we will defeat a disease like dengue," his post said.

National Dengue Day is observed on May 16 across the country to initiate pre-monsoon preventive activities.
