Terror and talks can’t go hand in hand, says PM Modi

In his first address to the nation since the launch of Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a stern message to Pakistan, asserting that “terror and talks cannot go hand in hand”.

The PM made it clear that future dialogue with Islamabad would be limited to terrorism and the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). He also made it clear "terror and talks can’t go hand in hand, terror and trade can’t go hand in hand, and blood and water can’t flow together." He praised the Indian Armed Forces for their precision strikes and saluted the resilience of Indian citizens. Emphasising national unity, Modi reiterated that Operation Sindoor was not just retaliation but a reflection of public sentiment, and it would now define India’s stance in fighting terrorism.
