YouTuber records harassment of his Russian friend in Jaipur

A petrol pump employee in Jaipur allegedly harassed a Russian tourist on November 7. The woman named Viktoriia was travelling with her Indian friend, a Delhi-based YouTuber. The incident happened when the worker was refilling petrol in their two-wheeler. The entire episode was captured on camera by the YouTuber, who began recording upon realising the mistreatment towards his Russian companion riding pillion.

The YouTube video, also shared on X, shows the content creator confronting the petrol pump staff about the inappropriate behaviour. He demands the employee call their manager and reveals that the worker had touched his friend Viktoriia multiple times.

The Russian tourist recounts that she initially dismissed the first two instances but became certain of the inappropriate touches on the third time. The staff apologised for his behaviour to which the man questioned if a simple apology would rectify the situation. In response, the employee denies intentional misconduct and apologises for the incident.

Viktoriia proposes filing a police complaint against the employee. The Indian vlogger narrates the entire situation to the police officer, who instructs the man to apologise. The man complies, and Viktoriia requests the officer to record the man's name for future reference in case of similar incidents with others.

The YouTuber explains in the video description that the delay in sharing the footage was due to technical issues, as the Rajasthan tour videos were initially found corrupt in the camera. Despite the challenges in recovery, he emphasises feeling ashamed about the incident.
