NCB clean chit for SRK's son Aryan Khan in drugs-on-cruise case

The TV debate noise aside, the Narcotic Control Bureau has failed to find proof against Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in the drugs-on-cruise case.

The anti-drugs agency has filed a 6,000-page chargesheet, naming 14 accused, after drugs were found on a cruise ship off Mumbai last year. But Aryan, who spent three weeks in jail and five others, don't feature in the chargesheet as NCB in a statement said no proof was found against them.

The agency which has faced flak for its handling of the case said that the principle of proof beyond reasonable doubt has been applied.

The NCB had claimed that Aryan Khan was a regular user and supplier of drugs, charges strongly denied by him and his lawyers who contended that no drugs were found on him during the raid.

Sameer Wankhede, the officer in charge of the investigation, was changed amid allegations of deliberately targeting Aryan Khan and even trying to blackmail the accused.
