'Was Ram parivarwaadi?': Priyanka Gandhi hits out at BJP for dynastic politics barb

Priyanka Gandhi has lashed out at the BJP over its repeated charges of dynastic politics against her family.

Her counter came during Congress' protest at the Rajghat in Delhi against the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi as a member of Parliament following his conviction in a defamation case.

'You (BJP) talk about 'Pariwarvaad', I want to ask who was Lord Ram? Was he 'Pariwarvaadi', or were the Pandavas 'Pariwarvaadi' just because they fought for the culture of their family?' Priyanka said.

'Should we be ashamed because our family members fought for the people of the country? My family has nurtured the democracy of this country with their blood,' the Congress leader added.
