The new Parliament building was inaugurated by the Prime minister in May this year. 

Members of Parliament to get special gift in new building

All members of Parliament will receive a special gift on Tuesday, September 19 after the proceedings of the Parliament will move to the New building.

As per India Today, all members will get a copy of the constitution, books related to the constitution and a commemorative coin and a stamp to mark the start of proceedings.

The govt convened a 5-day session of Parliament which commenced on Sept 18. Day 2 of the session will take place in the new building.

Notably, the high-end new Parliament building was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in May this year.
