Police arrests Patiala woman for sheltering fugitive Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh

This is the second arrest for harbouring Amritpal Singh. Previously, the police arrested Tejinder Singh Gill and booked him under section 212 of the IPC.

Punjab Police have arrested a woman from Patiala for allegedly sheltering the fugitive Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh.

According to India Today, Amritpal took refuge at the residence of Balbir Kaur for nearly six hours on March 19, a day after the police launched an operation to arrest him, before moving to Haryana.

This is the second arrest for harbouring Amritpal Singh who continues to be on the run.
