Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam during the ongoing Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. Holding 'rudraksha' beads and chanting mantras, Modi offered prayers while standing in the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers.

Accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the prime minister reached the Sangam via boat, marking a significant spiritual moment at the grand religious gathering.

The Maha Kumbh 2025, which began on Paush Purnima (January 13), is the world’s largest spiritual and cultural congregation, drawing millions of devotees. The event will continue until Mahashivratri on February 26. So far, the Uttar Pradesh government has reported a footfall of over 38 crore pilgrims from across India and the world.
