Pune Porsche crash: Rahul Gandhi launches 'two Indias' attack on Modi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reacted to the horrific Pune Porsche accident that killed two techies. The accused, who is the son of a realtor, was swiftly granted bail, sparking criticism.

Gandhi in a video message questioned the disparity in treatment, asking why bus, truck, or auto drivers are not given the same leniency. Highlighting the divide between the rich and the poor and emphasising that justice should be equal for all, Gandhi reiterated that the fight is for justice against inequality.

In the video, Gandhi said, "If a bus, truck, or auto driver accidentally kills someone, they face ten years in jail, and the key is thrown away. But if a wealthy 16-17-year-old drives a Porsche drunk and kills two people, they are asked to write an essay." He accused PM Modi of creating "two Indias," where justice is dependent on wealth.

Significantly, the accused in the luxury car crash was granted bail in less than 15 hours.
