IAF officer got killed in Poonch terror attack because of PM Modi: RJD's Tej Pratap Yadav

Taking aim at the BJP over the Poonch terrorist attack, RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav claimed that the reason an Indian Air Force personnel got killed was because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"Modi ji ki wajah se huye. Pehle kahan koi shaheed hota tha? (Who caused the martyrdom? It is because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Were there any martyrs before?" Tej Pratav told reporters on May 6.

He also accused the BJP of creating divide along the relgion lines.

"They have just made people fight each other, caused Hindu-Muslim differences."

Yadav is the second leader from the opposition ranks to question BJP over the Poonch terror attack.

On Sunday, former Punjab chief minister b Charanjit Singh Channi also attacked the BJP and alleged that the Poonch terror attack was "pre-planned" and said such
"stuntbaazi" was done to make the BJP win the elections.

"This is stuntbaazi. And not the (terror) attacks. When elections come, such stunts are done to make the BJP win. These are preplanned attacks, there is no truth in them," he claimed.

"To kill people and to play with their bodies....BJP knows it," he added.
