10 people have died during Garba events in Gujarat in 24 hours with authorities sounding alert for hospitals and community centres in the vicinity of Garba events.

At least 10 people have repotedly died while performing Garba in Gujarat in 24 hours. The India Today reported on October 21 that the age of victims ranged from teenagers to middle-aged people, with the youngest being a 13-year-old boy from Dabhoi in Baroda.

The state government issued an alert to all government hospitals and community health centers near Garba venues, urging them to be on high alert.

Garba organisers have also been instructed to create corridors for ambulances to enter the events swiftly in case of emergencies.
