Zorawar Ahluwalia slams trolls attacking Kusha Kapila; says ‘shameful to paint her as villain’

Content creator and actor Kusha Kapila, who recently announced her separation from husband Zorawar Ahluwalia, was trolled online after a video of Karan Johar advising her about relationships and infidelity went viral. Now, Zorawar has come out in support of Kusha and shut down the trolls.

In a note on social media, Zorawar said that he is ‘sad’ and ‘disappointed’ with the way people are treating Kusha after the separation announcement. He said that the decision to get divorced was mutual, made after much deliberation and thought. He added it was a tough and painful decision but one they took collectively, for the sake of their well-being.

Zorawar continued that to attack Kusha’s character and to paint her as some villain is shameful.
Kusha and Zorawar announced their separation in a joint statement on June 26. They sought ‘love, respect and support’ from their fans.

An old video in which the ‘Masaba Masaba’ actor expressed her views on infidelity recently surfaced online. In the video, Karan told Kusha, ‘Remember sexual infidelity is not infidelity.’ Kusha agreed with his statement and said, ‘I believe that.’

Her statement did not go down well with the netizens.

Kusha Kapila and Zorawar Ahluwalia tied the knot in 2017 after dating for a few years.
