Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri Announces 'The Bengal Files' Release Date

New Delhi, Jul 22 (PTI) — Noted filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has announced the release date for his upcoming film "The Bengal Files," set to hit theaters worldwide on September 5. Agnihotri, known for his directorial ventures "The Tashkent Files" and "The Kashmir Files," has garnered significant acclaim, with the former earning him a National Film Award and the latter standing as one of the top-grossing films of 2022.

At 51, Agnihotri took to Instagram to unveil the teaser for "The Bengal Files," captioning it with, "From the makers of The Kashmir Files & The Tashkent Files: THE BENGAL FILES – Teaser Out Now. If Kashmir hurt you, Bengal will haunt you. In cinemas on 05 September 2025."

The director is currently embarked on a U.S. "Never Again Tour," featuring 10 grand premieres of the film. The tour commenced on July 19 and will conclude on August 10.

Featuring a stellar cast, "The Bengal Files" includes performances by Palomi Ghosh, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, and Mithun Chakraborty in significant roles.
