Varun Tej & Lavanya Tripathi engaged: Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan & Allu Arjun attend; see pics

Actors Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi, who are known for their work in the Telugu film industry, got engaged in Hyderabad on June 9.

'Pushpa' star Allu Arjun, 'RRR' star Ram Charan and wife Upasana Konidela, and Varun's uncle and megastar Chiranjeevi were among those who attended the ceremony.

Varun posted photos from the engagement ceremony on Instagram. 'Found my Lav! @itsmelavanya,' he captioned the photos.

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi met in 2017 on the sets of 'Mister' and fell in love.

Following much speculation about their relationship, the couple announced their engagement on June 8 via their respective teams.

'Two hearts, one love,' read the wedding announcement.

Mega Prince Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi, congratulations. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. Engagement date: June 9, 2023.'

Nagendra Babu, an actor and producer, is Varun Tej's father.

He is Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan's nephew. On the other hand, Lavanya Tripathi made her Telugu film debut in 2012 with the film 'Andala Rakshasi'.
