Thalapathy Vijay debuts on Instagram, clocks 1 million followers in an hour

Megastar Thalapathy Vijay made his debut on Instagram on Sunday and his fans are overjoyed. The bio of his verified account reads, 'Official page handled by office of Actor Vijay.'

The news of the actor joining the social media platform was shared by Jagadish Palaniswamy, Vijay's manager and co-producer of his upcoming film 'Leo', on Twitter. He shared the official Instagram page link of the actor.

Soon after joining Instagram, Vijay shared a photo of himself from the sets of 'Leo' and addressed his fans as Nanbas and Nanbis. Fans have dropped heartfelt messages on his first Instagram post. The actor had around 1 million followers within an hour of joining Instagram.

‘Leo’ marks the reunion of Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj after ‘Master’. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Arjun, and Priya Anand. This film marks Sanjay Dutt’s Tamil debut, who will be playing the prime antagonist.

The Kashmir schedule of ‘Leo’ will reportedly be complete by April and then the team will return to Chennai for a short break. The next schedule will be in Hyderabad where a massive airport set is being erected.
