Adivi Sesh announces, ‘Emraan Hashmi is joining the cast of G2’: ‘Can’t wait to work with you’

Fans of Emraan Hashmi will soon be able to see the actor on big screens as he has a bumper project in the pipeline. Confirming the News on X, Adivi Sesh announced that Emraan Hashmi has joined the case of G2.

An excited Adivi Sesh took to X and wrote, “Welcoming the brilliant @emraanhashmi into the #G2 Universe. Can’t wait to work with you sir. It’s going to be.” In a separate press note, he said, “I am thrilled to have Emraan Hashmi on board for G2. His presence will undoubtedly bring a new dimension to the film.”

Emraan responds to Adivi Sesh’s post

Responding to the Adivi Sesh’s post on X, Emraan Hashmi played humble and asked the actor not to call him sir. He wrote, “@AdivisSesh glad to be onboard. Can’t wait!! And pls no formalities with calling me.. Sir. Plain ol Emraan will do!! C u soon.” Confirming his role in ‘G2’, the actor said that the filming is in progress. Praising the script, the actor said, “Joining the cast of ‘G2’ is truly exciting. The script is compelling, and I look forward to being part of this spy thriller.”

‘G2’ will be Emraan’s second Telugu film after ‘OG’. The actor recently shared his experience of working in the south film industry with Times of India and said, “I think south filmmakers are way more disciplined than we are. Every penny they spend on the film shows on screen. I think we often spend money on the wrong areas in Hindi films.”

About Adivi Sesh’s ‘G2’

The film is a sequel of the 2018 Sashi Kiran Tikka directorial Goodachari and stars Adivi Sesh and Banita Sandhu in the lead roles. Emraan Hashmi is the latest addition to the cast of this spy thriller. While Adivi will be seen once again in the role of ‘Gopi’ aka ‘Agent 116’, not much has been revealed about Banita and Emraan’s characters.
