Actor Ram Charan's wife Upasana Konidela talks about her choice to have children

Actor Ram Charan's wife Upasana Konidela is currently in her third trimester and is 'due in July.' Ahead of the delivery date, she shared a Mother's Day post on Instagram and claimed that she 'embraced motherhood for all the right reasons'. In the photo shared by her, she looks gorgeous flaunting her babu bump in a black outfit.

Ram Charan and Upasana celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary in June last year. Ram's father, veteran actor Chiranjeevi revealed later in the year that his son and daughter-in-law were expecting their first child. Since then, Upasana has been candid about her pregnancy and has been sharing every step of it on Instagram, from her baby showers to her romantic getaways with Ram.

To mark Mother's Day 2023, she shared a photo of herself, and wrote along with it, 'In all the right ways, I am proud to embrace motherhood. I didn't do it to meet social expectations or blend in. No desire to leave a legacy or to make my marriage stronger motivated me to become a mother. I decided to become a parent when I was emotionally ready to give my child the utmost love and care necessary for his or her overall wellbeing. my first Mother's Day celebration.'
