HYBE Vs ADOR CEO: ‘Serious’ formal accusations framed against Min Hee Jin after audit report

HYBE, the parent label of BTS’ Big Hit Entertainment and more such sub-labels, has released the audit report on ADOR. The audit report mentions serious allegations and implicates ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. HYBE corporation has also declared their intentions to pursue the case against Hee Jin legally for allegedly trying to take control of the HYBE subsidiary, ADOR.

ADOR is a sub-label under HYBE, just like Big Hit Entertainment. Recently HYBE conducted an audit of its subsidiary after they found efforts of ADOR CEO trying to gain control of the company in order to make it independent. Responding to HYBE’s audit, ADOR alleged that the HYBE has copied the concept of Newjeans, a K-pop girlgroup under ADOR.

In addition, Min Hee Jin, who took charge of ADOR in 2019, levelled several allegations against Bang Si-Hyuk aka Hitman Bang or Bang PD, who is the brain behind BTS and HYBE. In a press conference Hee Jin shared some alleged chats between her and Bang Si-Hyuk to support her claims.

In the latest development, HYBE has communicated their intention to press formal charges against the ADOR CEO for the alleged ‘brach of trust. In their official press release, HYBE said, “According to the audit results, HYBE confirmed and secured concrete evidence that a plan to usurp management control was established under the direction of ADOR’s CEO.”

According to HYBE, digital evidence proves that ADOR was plotting to take full control of management by reaching out to outside investors. ADOR was also in the process to take legal action against its parent company HYBE.

While defending herself against the accusations, ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin namedropped some groups. Not only did she accuse HYBE of copying Newjeans’ concepts for rookie girl group ILLIT, but she also accused HYBE chairman Bang Si Hyuk of copying her ideas to create BTS. Hee Jin’s dragging down of BTS into controversy has not gone down well with the ARMY across the globe. There has been a massive backlash against her for trying to tarnish BTS’ image. Meanwhile some reports have dug up more about Hee Jin might be one of the factors for the disbandment of GFRIEND.
