Jaideep Ahlawat Pays Tribute to Late Legend Dharmendra; Shares Set Photos

New Delhi, Nov 25 (PTI) Jaideep Ahlawat paid a heartfelt tribute to his late co-star, the legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra, by sharing a series of photos from the set of their upcoming film "Ikkis." Dharmendra, adored by many as the "Jatt Yamla Pagla Deewana," passed away on Monday morning at the age of 89. The news of his demise was met with an outpouring of condolences from celebrities who took to social media to express their grief.

On Monday, Ahlawat posted touching images on Instagram. "Kuch nahi hai aisa jo keh paaunga. Bas Itna ki Aapne jo pyar diya Mujhe unn thode se dino main. Main vo Umar Bhar yaad rakhunga Sir. Aap bahut yaad aayenge. This World will miss the one and only Jatt Yamla Pagla Deewana. RIP Dharam ji," he expressed in his caption.

"Ikkis," directed by Sriram Raghavan, features Agastya Nanda in the lead role of Arun Khetarpal, celebrated as the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 25. It narrates the remarkable story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who bravely fought in the 1971 Indo-Pak war during the Battle of Basantar. Khetarpal sacrificed his life at just 21, earning posthumous recognition as the youngest recipient of India’s highest military honor.
