ICYMI, 'Jab We Met' sequel is being planned. Will Shahid-Kareena return as Aditya and Geet?

‘Jab We Met’ has a fan following that knows no bounds. The 2007 film starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor rules hearts and fans have been waiting for the sequel of the film for so long and now the reports say that this might come true.

Times Now reported that Raj Mehta, the proprietor of Ashtavinayak will produce the movie under the Gandhar Films banner. Gadhar Group has a 30-year long history in the oil refinery sector. They entered into film making in the year 2021. The reports also say that Imtiaz Ali will step in to direct ‘Jab We Met 2’.

Though there’s been no official announcement from the makers, there have been speculations on whether exes Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor will reunite for the film.

'Jab We Met' was also re-released in the theatres on February 14, 2023. Fans relived and celebrated the blockbuster in the theatres once again. Shahid had visited a theatre in Mumbai, where a fan asked him about his conversation with Imtiaz on the sequel and he called him a smart boy. This had given hints to the fans on the sequel of the movie.
