New Delhi, Jul 15 (PTI) – Renowned fashion designer J J Valaya is set to close the curtains on the 18th annual India Couture Week (ICW).

Presented by Hyundai India in partnership with Reliance Brands, this highly-anticipated event will take place from July 23 to July 30 at the Taj Palace hotel, Delhi.

Valaya will unveil a collection that intriguingly combines heritage, storytelling, and contemporary couture, as highlighted in a press release.

"In celebrating 33 glorious years of JJ VALAYA, what better way than to host the final show of the 2025 edition of Hyundai India Couture Week. We are grateful to Hyundai and FDCI for this incredible opportunity, which promises an unforgettable display of elegance and opulence, all brought to life through our distinctive language of creative expression," Valaya expressed in the statement.

Sunil Sethi, Chairman of FDCI, lauded Valaya, calling him a "visionary in the world of Indian couture".

"It is our privilege to have him conclude the Hyundai India Couture Week 2025. With his deep-rooted legacy, intricate detailing, and timeless designs, he is the quintessential choice to wrap up this landmark edition. His closing showcase will surely be the perfect finale to a week celebrating India’s unparalleled craftsmanship and creative ingenuity," Sethi added.

The 2025 edition also features a stellar lineup of designers, including Rohit Bal, Manish Malhotra, Ritu Kumar, Tarun Tahiliani, Amit Aggarwal, Falguni Shane Peacock, Rahul Mishra, Shantnu & Nikhil, Suneet Verma, Rimzim Dadu, Jayanti Reddy, Rose Room by Isha Jajodia, and Aisha Rao.
