Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ is finally out! Taylor Swift is all that the internet and social media can think about today. Her name, along with her album’s name and phrases like Album of the year is already trending as the singer unveiled her 11th studio album, the one she announced at the Grammys.

'The Tortured Poets Department’ is out now!

Announcing the release of her new album, Taylor wrote on her Instagram, “The Tortured Poets Department. An anthology of new works that reflect events, opinions and sentiments from a fleeting and fatalistic moment in time - one that was both sensational and sorrowful in equal measure. This period of the author’s life is now over, the chapter closed and boarded up. There is nothing to avenge, no scores to settle once wounds have healed. And upon further reflection, a good number of them turned out to be self-inflicted. This writer is of the firm belief that our tears become holy in the form of ink on a page. Once we have spoken our saddest story, we can be free of it. And then all that’s left behind is the tortured poetry. THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT is out now.”

‘The Tortured Poets Department’ features Taylor Swift’s collaborations with artists like Post Malone and Florence+ The Machine. The title track of the album deals with the fight for the identity in the music industry. There is a subtle reference to Charlie Puth as well.

Another track ‘So long, London’ has a reference to her ex-Joe Alwyn. “I swore you loved me, but where are the clues, I’m dying at the alter waiting for proof”!!!!!!!! I might be butchering the lyrics but hey! So Long, London." Fans who heard the track took to the social media to warn Joe Alwyn.

Infact, it’s not just Taylor’s ex-lover who finds a reference in the album. Even her current lover, Travis Kelce, finds Taylor’s lyrics dedicated to him. The album has 16 tracks including 4 bonus tracks.
